The Str8 Story Podcast will be an interview based show, featuring a rotation of guests with no particular affiliation to each other, other than being fascinating individuals who are willing to share their time with us.
My first guest, Roger Steffens, defines the caliber of personality I hope to attract for future episodes. He has a prolific and consummately fascinating story that takes us from the Vietnam War to his current ascension as an in-demand photographer, with a comprehensive viewpoint on all interim aspects of American counterculture. Steffens is also, notably, the world's preeminent collector of reggae music and physical artifacts, and our paths first intersected over a common love for reggae music and Jamaican culture.
A lot of our conversation revolves around Bob Marley and other reggae performers as well as Rasta philosophy, but there a lot of other nuggets of Steffens' awesomeness that peak in throughout.
